Scrapwick Private Backups — connection information

Scrapwick Private Backups is a private administrative backup utility for Olliwick. It is not a public application or a member sign-in service.

Privacy

Only the owner authorizes this Google Drive connection. The requested drive.file permission allows the utility to manage files it creates or that the owner explicitly opens with it. It does not request access to unrelated Drive files, email, contacts or photos.

The utility stores encrypted Scrapwick backup archives and verification records in an owner-only Drive folder. It reads those archives back to verify recovery. Encryption happens before upload. Drive file names, sizes and verification metadata are used to manage and check backups.

The connection credentials are kept in private server configuration. Google Drive data accessed through this connection is used only to operate and verify these backups, not for advertising, sale, or AI model training. Its use follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

The owner can revoke the connection in Google Account settings. Revoking access stops future backups and does not delete existing archives. Archive retention remains under the owner's control.

Use

This utility is operated only by Olliwick's owner and is not offered as a backup service to the public. A successful backup requires a verified run; creating this connection does not establish that a backup has succeeded.
